I8g (and I8ge) are Graviton4-powered storage-optimized instances using 3rd-gen AWS Nitro SSDs. I8g offers up to ~22.5 TB of instance storage per VM; I8ge offers up to ~120 TB and the highest networking bandwidth among storage-optimized Graviton instances. Compared to prior Graviton storage families, I8g can deliver markedly higher per-TB performance and lower latency/variability.
